Carl-1

Carl shook his head as he looked at the human crumpled at his feet. What possesed these frail creatures to shut down insteading of attacking in the face of danger. Then he looked closer, there it was, all the signs. Her veins stood out against her abnormally pale skin. He turned to glare at Freda, she had knocked the girl out. This was the kind of stupid move that would endanger their mission. "What where you thinking?" He hissed at the copper headed female. She smiled slyly before answering, "When she wakes up she'll be calm, rested. She might be able to listen." He whirled on her, raising his voice to sharp cold bark. "That was very stupid. Now she might not trust us. Next time you will stick to the plan or I will destroy you myself." He turned back to the girl and composed himself, already she was stirring. "No more variations. We have one chance, you will not screw this up." The girl moaned and her eyes fluttered open, when she realized where she was her eyes widened and she quickly jumped to her feet. She stayed deceptivly still, Carl knew that she had a hand on a wepon and was ready to use it. "Feeling better?" She raised an eyebrow, "What do you want?" Carl smiled to himself, these humans weren't totally weak after all. "To talk to you." She snorted, "Uh-huh, I'm gonna sit in the woods with a bunch of vampires and talk? Yeah right." She carefully pulled out a sword, casually displaying it. The fact the she wasn't threatening them made it even more impressive. "I think you will do very well." Carl slowly murmered as he watched her stand there. "Actually my plans don't involve being dinner, so you can go play like the nice little children you are, ok?" Beside him Petra growled and Tor tensed. She was very good at anoying them. He laughed, "And mine don't involve eating you." She frowned,"Then would you mind explaining what you do want?" He looked at her steadily, "An ally. An ally inside the city." She stared at him, "Why do you want an ally and what for?" He sighed, "It's complicated. It might take a while to explain." She glared at him and spoke in a low steady voice, "I have time." He frowned, "Yes, but I don't. Plus I don't know if I can trust you." She snorted, "I think you're the one i can't trust. You are the vampire, remember?" He smiled, "Fine, you show up here in two days. Don't bring any elders or guards and I'll know that I can trust you. If i show up you'll know that you can trust me." She slowly nodded, "Ok, but leave the posse at home." He bared his fangs in a mimcry of a smile, "Of course." Then the four of them slipped into the forest.
